Its population, about 25,750 is dispersed among the various communities mentioned. Lincoln is another beautiful Niagara township in the heart of Ontario’s wine country and situated between Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment giving Lincoln it mild winters. Because it is noted for its orchards, vineyards, wineries and restaurants many tourists are attracted to the area in the summer.
Aside from the many vineyards, Lincoln’s natural beauty consists of the waterfront, Jordan Harbour and Ball’s Falls, a popular conservation area and tourist attraction. It also has a high concentration of green houses, dominating the greenhouse floriculture production in Ontario.
During Canada’s Thanksgiving weekend, Vineland hosts a four-day craft fair. Held at the end of June, the annual arts and culture festival celebrates art and culture through demonstrations, performances and exhibits. July features weekly musical concerts on Tuesday with various musical genres for all ages. Other attractions include Harvest Pioneer Day, the Fling on King Street Party, September’s Culture Days and more. It’s a fun place to live and work.
